A custom steel handling base developed around non-standard contact points, stable positioning and forklift access for a large industrial component.
Customer Challenge
Large and irregular components may require dedicated support and locating points instead of a generic pallet. A standard pallet cannot reliably position an oversized, non-standard part or provide consistent contact where the component needs it.
Custom Fixture Layout
The visible orange locating pads position the component at defined contact points on the steel base. Support posts and a project-specific layout hold the part in a stable, repeatable position for handling.
Development and Finish
The black frame represents the initial, unfinished structure. The white stillage is the finished configuration.
